Fly away home
I was out on my patio after it snowed the other day and noticed I forgot to bring in some of my summer garden stuff, like this dragonfly. But it developed such a pretty patina from being weathered that I think I'm going to keep it outside. I guess this is just another example of getting better with age...

Separating the eggs
Sometimes I get lazy about cleaning the kitchen for a few hours. I separated some eggs while making a quiche for dinner, and left the yolks in a Pyrex measuring cup for about 3 hours. I was amazed at how pearly the yolks got.
