Technological dumbass

There's something screwy going on around here. I'm trying to fix it. It is MT- and skinning-related. If you have any suggestions on what may be wrong, please email me.

You sure it's not server-related? It's weird. I've never seen it before. :(

hmmmm...did you happen to move and thing or change anything in your cookie file? or possibly in your header file?

(stupid question, I know, but sometimes even the tiniest thing jacks up everything.)

bah. it does appear to be server-related somehow, though I'm not sure how. if all you did was add a skin and not change any folder names, then it appears your server isn't parsing the php code correctly. not sure why, though.

I've checked your skins and all of your cookie-setting pages. They're golden. (though, I did move the side content on your Red Fish skin to the footer. Pretty much anything that goes *after* the MT code goes in the footer. So, essentially, anyting on the right. :) It still looks the same, but I thought that might have been the problem, so I tried it. Alas, no.

Sorry, sweets. Did you try emailing your ISP?

Did you (or your web hosting company) recently upgrade PHP or something like that? That's my first guess. I'd have to see the source of header5.php to troubleshoot any more than that.

Sean, it doesn't appear to be an issue with any of the headers, unfortunately. I was banging my head trying to figure it out, but everything appears to be in order.

You're right, though...maybe they did some kinda upgrade or something wonky on their end.

Hi Nicole,

It's not server related. Check your paths as it's pointing to an incorrect path for the include you are trying to use.

Make sure you have the correct USER NAME in your PHP for the path...

If you want me to look at it, please let me know.

I have seen this before, in my own sites when I did an incorrect path.

:)

That's happened to me before, and Sara is right. Once I corrected the php include file or whatever it's officially called, it fixed everything.

I went and played with a blog, took out the php includes and there aren't any errors. We are hunting down the problem. Looks like PHP was upgraded yesterday on a lot of the hosts and machines. It's just a path problem. I will email you as soon as I know an answer! :)

All fixed girlie! :) Sorry for the problems, sometimes improving has buggies!
